About Me
Hi. I'm Rachel. And I practice Fertility Law at Essig & Evans, LLP.
Every day, I get to help my clients build families through surrogacy as well as egg, sperm, and embryo donation.

My clients are intended parents and surrogates, recipients and donors, married and single, from the United States and all over the world, and of all sexual orientations.

I'm a Fellow of the prestigious Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys and a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the American Bar Association’s Assisted Reproductive Technology Committee.

Outside of my legal practice, I support those going through infertility through my work with the Jewish Fertility Foundation, where I serve on its national Board of Directors.

My husband and I have two kids, our artsy 6-year-old daughter and Hamilton obsessed 3-year-old son (he's particularly into the king).

I love wine and travel (I can't wait for my world tour visiting all my international clients) and drinking wine while traveling. In another life, I earned my chef's degree in Buenos Aires. Now I cook vegetarian meals for my family. I'm into fitness and investing and design.

I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and am licensed to practice law in Ohio and Illinois.
